For my seminar final I decided to approach making a cinematic self portrait from a 2D stand point. I decided to make a short film poster rather than an actual movie. I reflected on my work during this semester and all of my past experiences that brought me to New York. I had several realizations about what I want, my main aspiration is to travel the world. I focused on how all of the past events, the good and the bad, have heavily influenced my work. To embody how all of my pieces are like a timeline of my life, I chose to make the hypothetical film a story of my life. I used quotes from the pieces and writing exercises we did in seminar class. I chose to draw the piece in a concept illustration style to hint at my possible decision to major in illustration.
