Save Your Oceans is an organization that inspires individuals of all ages across the country to create positive change while spreading awareness about ocean conservation and the detrimental affects of plastic pollution. These posters are meant to spark important conservations while asking viewers to reflect on their own experiences and relate them to marine species must feel.
Race For Reefs is a 5k race fundraiser under the parent organization Save Your Oceans. The annual event is held at Malibu Beach Pier on National Oceans Day, June 8th, with a racing path that is mostly along the coast. People of all ages are encouraged to run, walk, volunteer or watch the race as well as participate in the event activities throughout the day. There is a $10 minimum donation fee to sign up, and for the month leading up to the event, individuals or groups can fundraise as well. Multiple prizes will be given to fastest racers in various categories and biggest donations. Partnering with sustainable brands that promote recycled materials and less plastic use, Save Your Oceans will be selling race merch and reusable products.
