Inspired by Japanese Kimono in MOMA; which was Dahee’s favorite art. Through field trip and several interview with Dahee, I could find out what she’s interested in and also her taste of art. In MOMA, Dahee told me when we were standing infront of flower pattern Kimono; She had a canvas bag which has Japanese flower pattern on it but she lost it 2 years ago. This cannot be the same bag but I tried to express as similar as Dahee explained and wanted to bring up that lost bag.
Through this project, I learned what I have to concern when I make something to someone. Someone could be one person or multiple. I thought that it could be my future customers. It is hard to fulfill other people and also myself but I tried to understand properly what Dahee told me and her needs.
