This project called Send Me HomeĀ is an interactive 360-degree film by Cassandra Evanisko about a man who spent over four decades in prison for a murder that he didn’t commit. The film is interactive in the sense that viewers can navigate with their cursor around the screen to see what is happening at all angles of the film. It’s virtual reality when viewed with the glasses but can be interactive when watched on all screens. This idea of using a 360-degree camera to film a subject is really interesting to me. It lets the viewer see what is happening in the world that the subject is living in. This is something viewers miss out on in a regular film.
