Idea 3: I will illustrate an interactive sticker book! It will have instructions and tell people to place things in their network and have people question what things do what job // belong where. I will try to use minimal if any words but have strong indicators so that the participant will learn something from the book. It will be a fun little activity directed at elementary school children that are still figuring out how the world fits together
Idea 2: I will create a few models of jewelry that mark networks/systems. The choice to wear or not wear the jewelry is a form of interaction. This project would call out networks that exist, for example competitors could both bet wearing the same ring and then note the role they have in each others work when they see each other. Or two lovers could have matching rings and be reminded of how they rely on each other in a systematic way in their everyday interactions, or a class or a family or a religious group.
Idea 3: My first idea is design an experience that addresses issues in the constructed ecosystem that we share with non-human animals. I would have a stuffed animal that would be accompanied by a booklet and instruction manual. Following the guide, the participant would read about a story that happened to the type of animal that they have. They will be told which seams to cut + sew until the animal they had has turned into a human, to make a statement to say that humans are animals, despite how much we try to distance ourselves.
