The VR experience was really interesting in that it puts you so directly into an environment. The feeling of being inclused in headphones and a visual headset already makes you feel constrained to an environment but the open ended-ness of the actual virtual reality is quite overwhelming. The sounds I thought were the most effective as the visuals weren’t overly detailed. The most impactful part for me was the ‘on panic’ section where the change in visuals was impactful and effective in positioning the viewer in the shoes of the narrator and into the narrative. Whilst I found it really interesting I personally don’t like VR experiences as I don’t like the feeling of things on my face and the whole instructional narration I find is sometimes stressful or not as interactive as it should be.
