This week I have photographed my brother to illustrate the impacts social media has on his identity. I think it is very odd the high school students today have many people to look to online that show them what’s cool and for that reason, many of these kids fit into a specific aesthetic. My brother is able to so closely mimic the people he follows in regard to how he dresses. For the next step in my project, I want to figure out how to manipulate the images I have created to pose questions about identity. I will conduct multiple different experiments with the images before the weekend and then pick the most successful one to proceed with.
