For my project, I changed up my plan a bit last week. Instead of a room, because that is not possible for this class, I decided to use a little corner of the room to fill it up with plastic shirts, plastic bottles, plastic “water” and other plastic made objects that would comment on the over usage of plastic in the world. I will use a projector to project a peaceful island. Instead of garbage island, this mimics a plastic island.

So far, I have made a plastic shirt out of plastic wrappings to make the plastic garment. I am currently editing a video for the projector. I just need to photograph models wearing the plastic garment as well as “swimming” in the plastic water for my booklet that will go along with this mini installation.
