PATTERN VALUE SCALE 1
The work basically shows the transition of brightness, primarily starting from blank space and gradually turning into the darkest colored space. The changes I made from the first collection was distinctive, in that some pieces were more of objects-based works. Comparatively, the works I added after eliminating those pieces are more of showing lines and shapes.
I learned that through the transition of point to line and then line to plane, I can show the gradual transformation of brightness and darkness. If the lines and shapes fill in the space, it could form the darker pieces. The sphere space could form the brightness as well. All together the pieces seem to be one whole work that shows gradual darkness from right to left handed side, horizontally.
