1) Create a list of all of the ethical/sustainability/human rights issues that you saw in the film. Understanding these issues will help you with the final project. Take a screenshot (or a photo of the screen) of a moment in the film that portrays each of these issues. Create a gallery on your LP with your screenshots (at least 5 or more images). For each image, caption it and explain the issue in 2-3 complete sentences in your own words.
Low Wages: In the meantime, every factory wants the order so badly, so they cut the price of production. Which in a way, the factory wants to keep the benefit of their profit, the only way they can do is cut the wage of labors.
Unsafe Condition: The factory is unsafe for so many laborers because of the horrible working condition. Their wages only have 3 dollars a day, but they need to keep working in that worst environment, the staff around can beat them with scissors and other stuff.
Factory Disaster: Because of the low price they got from the capital country, the manufactory doesn’t have a lot of money to give the labor a much more good place to do their works. So when the labor put forward the potential safety hazard in the manufactory, they still let them go inside to continue working, it forms the factory disaster.
Health affect: In India, the pharmaceutical factory gave the farmers the pest to keep their cotton plant safe which has a lot of chemicals in it. It damages the healthy ecological balance around that place. And the chemical stuff also influenced the local people’s health.
Environment problems: According to today’s research, more them 80 pounds per day of clothes are thrown away because of the fast fashion industry. And a lot of the clothes are not sustainable, so they cause a lot of environmental problems.
