In 2009, my cousins showed me the world of YouTube. I was instantly intrigued and entertained. I could watch YouTube all day. The YouTubers I watched became my idols. People like nigahiga, Jenna Marbles, and Smosh. Much of my humor and mannerisms were shaped by them. My mom didn’t know much about the site so for a little while, she wouldn’t let me go on the site. Although, since she and my dad worked a lot, I would spend much of my time at my grandparents house. There they didn’t supervise me too much. I was free to do my own thing and watch the forbidden youtube.
