Before doing my research, I suddenly thought of an American graphic novel I read a few months ago. I couldn’t remember the title of the piece, so I just decided to discover a graphic novelist and do a research about them. First I searched graphic novelist, French graphic novels, and illustration artists. During this, I saw <Persepolis> on related search titles, and remembered I’d never learned about the author of the book. I started to read about her most renowned piece <Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood> and the author herself.
