The reliquary I made is meant to represent and showcase my retainer box. A box at first I hated because of its glitter, but had to learn to love, becoming a cool out-of-this-planet box that resembled space. Using two layers of polymethyl methacrylate, precisely laser cut and meticulously engineered; I was able to create a structure that could wistand up to 2 pounds*, while having no joints, nails, screws, glue or any connectors at all. Only the perefect location of the angles, radially and tangentially. It’s an equation working in real life, it’s engineering made simple and elegant.
