The ancient standard of timekeeping is the sun. And the whole life has been around the sun for many cultures such as the Inkas. It’s light has awaken us to go to work. Earth goes around the sun, time goes around the sun. With these series of images I try to represent how nowadays time goes around and inside the phone. How is the phone’s light what starts our day, how the light of the phone ends our day, if it ever does… We perceive our world through a phone nowadays, our world is shaped around a phone, and it’s the phone the new global timekeeping standard. We are “phonecentric” nowadays and that has altered the perception of time for everybody. That’s the reason of these images.
