Day 1: Choose art form.- Decided to modify it’s impact on photography.
Day 2: Choose kind of photography. Decided to use aerial photography.
Day 3: Start researching, but idea of using microscopic photography comes to mind.
Day 4: Think about the new design and how it changes the system.
My research is what has been Steve Jobs influence in the way we experience, teach or create art.
What the system is you’re designing around, and what is your point of intervention? (Are you creating a new system? Adapting or intervening with an existing one?)
I am updating one. In fact it could be considered simplifying it. I believe each system is related to other systems so I can’t really explain for example how it would change the system in it’s production manufacturing plant, or how the workflow of each person that uses a microscope would change, but I can certainly explain how parts of the general system would change, making this easier, simpler and enjoyable.
What is the purpose of this system? Who and what will be impacted? How will they be impacted?
How does this system relate to your research question?
The purpose of this system is to simplify and ease the way to acquire microscopic photos or videos. This would affect anyone that uses a microscope, such as students, scientists, teachers, etc. While at the same time bringing to the mainstream this kind of video and photography because of the way it would become much easier both to analyze and acquire the data. This relates to my question because a product like the iPad is an essential part of the design, it is the medium in which you’ll instantly get the media and be able to transport it, share it and study it. It will also serve as interface to interact with the microscope thanks to its screen and SDK.
