Artist’s Statement:
I came to the realization that people change and often they become the person they said they would never be. Sometimes, good people turn to evil. The kind–hearted aspects of human nature are being washed out in miscellaneous societies.The bad behaviors have became acceptable as a norm, covering up people’s true thoughts toward the wrongs. It is hard to surpass the evilness, because there are countless demonized people acquire benefits or express angers through their body. This repulsive social phenomenon inspired me to use the absence of body boundary lines through misplacing body parts to express the motional, verbal, and visional struggles in human behaviors. The tensional silver fingers, represents the corroding human kindness and gentleness, coming out of the soulless red demon face, which symbolizes the inhuman devil.
