Waiting

We don’t really get to realize how much time is spent each day waiting, whether it’s waiting in a line for lunch, waiting for a friend, waiting for a mail, etc. During these periods of waiting, I found myself pointlessly surfing through my phone, hopelessly checking the clock, and often just zoning out. I’ve realized that nothing substantial things are done when waiting; instead most of these times are being wasted. To avoid wasting time when waiting, I can engage in a conversation, study or do a homework for school, read the news using my phone, or even memorizing the individual digits of pi. It is important to spend my time wisely rather than wasting it, and  As much as my time is important, other’s time is also important. Thus, it is crucial that we are all punctual to avoid wasting other’s time.
