During the visit to The New Museum, I was really fascinated by the Sarah Lucas’ Au Natural exhibition which took a total of three floors of the museum to be displayed. She used multiple mediums from self portrait photographies to sculptures to boldly challenge people’s perspectives about gender, sexuality, and identity in today’s society. By utilizing everyday objects to portray human body, she wanted the peers to discuss the topic of these ideas with ease in just everyday conversations.
