I consider the HQD Cuvie Plus 1200 to be special among the entire line. It differs from other devices not only in technical characteristics but also in its stylish design. Facts about the device:
- From the outside, you might think that in your hand is not a disposable device, but an expensive device. Although the cost of the Cuvie Plus is quite similar to its analogs and stays in the middle
- A score of 1,200 puffs puts the HQD Cuvie Plus at the level of “long-lasting” disposable electronics
- The aluminum body adds to the charm
- The strength here is 50 mg of nicotine. It is important to say, despite the fact that it is not much at first glance, it is strongly felt here
- In addition, this disposable can now be found almost everywhere, from simple vape shops to stores and department stores.
Appearance
Let’s start with the vape. It is a vape pen. And it shows the device itself and its technical characteristics, as well as other HQDs. The device itself is in what is called a polyethylene capsule. In addition, Cuvie Plus has different flavors, and each flavor has its own specific color on the package.
The body of HQD Cuvie Plus is made of aluminum, it is cylindrical in shape. A bit like the HQD King. The color itself, by the way, is covered with gloss, which is even more pleasing to the eye. On the body are a logo, model name, and flavor. On the top, we get the mouthpiece, made of plastic. At the bottom, we got the air duct, made in the form of a ring. At the bottom, we can see the light indicator. But it is not the usual LED, but also in the form of a ring. With each draw, the indicator starts to activate and glow. It also signals the end of the HQD plus.
Technical Specifications
Now I would like to say more about the characteristics. Since we have already started comparing the HQD Cuvie Plus with the HQD King, I think that here we can also compare them. Let’s start with the characteristics of the Cuvie:
- Puffs: 1200
- Battery capacity: 950 mAh
- Smoking fluid volume: 5 ml
- Liquid hardness: 5%
- Nicotine concentration: 50 mg/ml
- Liquid composition: Salty nicotine, vegetable glycerin, food-grade propylene glycol, natural flavorings
- Dimensions: 101 x 18 x 11 mm
- Weight of the device: 45 g
- Price: 25$
I can tell you right away, the performance is very good. The Cuvie Plus is practically the same as the King. The only thing is that Cuvie Plus is bigger than King. But for all that, the battery in King is 1600 mAh. Accordingly, the puffs in King are 2,000, and here only 1,200. Also, the Cuvie Plus has a smaller tank, one and a half milliliters less than the King. Price-wise, we’ll compare later. Otherwise, they are identical. Moving on!
How many puffs are real in HQD Cuvie Plus?
I’m sure everyone is wondering how real the claimed 1200 puffs are. No, as a rule, puffs are a little less (around 1050-1100 at the normal smoking rate). Personally, this was enough for me for 3 days of moderate vaping.
Some people I interviewed noted that the Cuvie Plus is often defective and they had enough of one Cuvie Plus for 500-800 loads. HQD’s are often famous for high claimed performance and not matching those claims with actual performance.
How to disassemble and recharge the HQD Cuvie Plus?
So, in order to disassemble and recharge the HQD Cuvie Plus, we will need:
- A small flathead screwdriver
- Pliers
- Battery charger for 18350/18650 batteries
Then we do everything in this sequence:
- Take a screwdriver and insert it into the hole in the bottom of the HQD. Thus lift the plastic cap from different sides to remove it;
- Take the pliers and at the bottom of the HQD “swing” the white plastic plug;
- Then “pull” the filling. If it is very difficult to pull out or not pulled out, it is necessary to disassemble the upper mouthpiece (It is disassembled in the same way as the bottom white plug but by hand);
- Then we push out the stuffing from above. In our case we push it out with the back side of a screwdriver;
- The battery must be installed in the charger and wait for the end of charging (to charge it is necessary to remove the cloth and peel off the adhesive tape);
- After charging or recharging, the device must be assembled in reverse order.
I wouldn’t say it’s difficult. But still, be careful!
How to tell if a HQD Cuvie Plus is original or fake?
The first one is the easiest – through a QR code. And it is not just placed on the package. Just with it you can check the authenticity of HQD Cuvie Plus. You can check it through this website. Just enter the serial number or scan the QR code. It will either give you a green confirmation checkmark or a red sign indicating fake.
The second is through the name with a little picture. They themselves have the name with a little picture on the case. If the tops on the letter Q are beveled rather than rounded, you’re probably looking at an original.
Is HQD Cuvie Plus worth the money?
With all things considered and said, including the reviews, I will say this. If you want to take a good disposable electronic, and not just take it, but use it for a few days, the HQD Cuvie Plus is definitely for you.
Even comparing it to the King, I’m still leaning more toward the Cuvie plus. The difference in performance isn’t that big, but the price is a big difference. Sure, there are good counterparts to the puff bar and those Chillax ones, but the HQD is a universally recognized premium level. So if you don’t want to choose for a long time, I can safely recommend this disposable. If you want to choose something better, then also take a closer look at the above options. That’s the end of our review. Have a good stream, friends!
