For this project, we made a pattern for a softball.

First, we wrapped the softball with plastic wrap and masking tape, and marked some notches on it.

Then we cut the tape out according to the lines we marked.

To completely flatten the pieces, I cut some small notches along the side. (It turned out that I cut a bit too much)

I then transferred the pattern onto paper and mark the notches.

I chose the pattern which is better than the other and transfer that onto muslin.
