My work consists of sculptural and printed elements that portray how images, stories, and specifically headlines created by the media are manipulated.  Through this piece, I want to try and convey the idea that our view of the world is crafted and corrupted by the media and further impose the power of an image. The print created through manipulation on Photoshop initially were archived published tabloids, and the title of each of these pieces represents the main headline that was depicted on the magazine cover. The overlay of the treated Plexiglas is meant to reflect the obstructed lens that the media crafts.
