Gold in Malaysian Penang

Demand for gold remains high, a trend that has been particularly evident during the embargo imposed over the past two years and is expected to continue, according to co-organizers of Penang’s iconic gold and jewelry show.
Many people bought gold during the epidemic because it was considered a safe investment. As a result, sales at last year’s show reached RM150 million. This trend is expected to continue and the price of gold is rising, so our goal for next year’s show is to generate sales of approximately RM170 million.
The Penang Specialty Gold and Jewellery Show, an international gold trade show, will play an important role in attracting local and international gold and jewelry traders to Penang.

This will give a much needed boost to the gold jewelry industry and will have a positive impact on our local economy and tourism.
