During class, I did these two detailed fabric explorations out of charcoal and pen while examining my chosen garment, a black Wrangler denim jacket with metal details. I pinned it on the wall so I could manipulate the shapes to make more interesting drawings.
I then did two more iterations at home.
This was made with a variety of grey markers.
This was made with oil pastels.
