Human to human: tear-off recyclable paper

For our problem, H is a problematic roommate. Since we are all college students, we determined that the roommate figure was relevant to the majority of us. Therefore, H is someone’s roommate who is unaware of the unspoken rules, showing that she has a lack of common manners and etiquette. Since H’s lack of mutual decency as a roommate is causing trouble in the living situation, we designed sheets of tear-off wrapping paper (that are waterproof) made out of recyclable paper to contain the mess she makes. Once she is done with whatever she was working on the table, she can just use the sheets to wrap up the mess and put it away somewhere else.

H is a roommate.

She never cleans the dining-table and and leaves it so messy that if has negatively affected her suite-mate’s living condition.

We gave a suggestion but she never listens.

To prevent chaos within a shared living environment, social contracts must be promised. In order to make sure that social contracts are promised and are functioning in society, both written and unwritten rules must be promised to form or maintain the human to human relationship, according to Brunno Latour’s claim, “things do not exist without being full of people”.
