I genuinely enjoyed reading this article as it was super relevant and personable while inserting helpful tips and insight into plastic reduction in our everyday lives.  This article followed four people of differing ages and lifestyles to see how well they fared against the challenge of reducing their plastic consumption.  It is admittedly very difficult as I have tried myself and I empathized with them wholeheartedly that some things are just inescapable especially when it comes to purchasing food to go or ordering something online, etc.  However, this article provided reliable sources such as Andrew Pankhurst from Zero Waste Scotland and Rachelle Strauss of Zero Waste Week.  In reading the personal experiences of these people, I was able to get reasonable ideas of swapping plastic out for reusables in certain situations, and considering things I haven’t before.  I think spreading this message of plastic waste and reduction and making people realize the importance of the issue at hand is important.  They can come to understand that it isn’t so hard to bring in reusable bags or Tupperware, or opt out of plastic utensil options, etc.
