I tore a page from the book and arranged it on a new page to create a collage. Then use watercolor to paint the buildings and white marker to draw details.
I used an x-acto knife to cut out many small boxes (same size) in the center of the book to create layers and drew a Ferris wheel from a festival I attended.
I applied a light surface of gesso on the page and used acrylic paint to draw an island.
