My Bridge Project 4 is creating a digital installation to raise awareness of endangered animal. Therefore, I chose to research on artists who have created installation or sculptures that tried to get this message across and Nevena Atanasova is one of them.

Artist’s biographic information

Nevena Atanasova is a 3D artist based in Bulgaria. With her interests in the environment, she created sculptures to share her feelings on endangered animals and environmental issues. The animal sculptures were made from inessential objects like wire.

Artist statement

“Born and nurtured in beautiful Bulgaria, I’ve always put a special focus on Nature. I spend most of my time in the most beautiful villages in the heart of the mystic Rhodope Mountains looking for inspiration in all kinds of ancient sanctuaries and otherworldly places. With the help of art, I strive to raise awareness about environmental issues and spread the word about how endangered our Nature is!”
