What learning/ learning topic or learning process did you find yourself using throughout the semester?
The Artist Posts: both content (new artists) and the strategy (building internal awareness and allowing for emergent curiosity)
Where did you use the learning area (in life, in class, in other classes)?
I used the artist posts idea in my Space and Drawing class where I researched their background and their style and techniques of their artwork and reapplied to it or build upon it in my own work.
If you could tell future students anything from what you learned during this year, what would it be? (Not just in this class – but overall in life about first year at college.)
For this class, I believe you just have to let your curiosity lead you to your idea and themes for each Bridge project. Because Studio this year is so much more open-ended (a lot of freedom), I think it is important to take this opportunity and explore various materials, especially on something you are not familiar with. Moreover, to challenge yourself. First year at college is tough, but if you put in a lot of effort, it will pay off in the end.
