Self in the City

The final outcome of this image was a progression between images ranging through texture, form and literal compositions. In the Photoshopped image, a literal photograph of myself traveling in a taxi is morphed into a polaroid that is shifted across a scanner to represent how time within the city has moved so quickly and become a blur. The rough texture of the wall represents the buildings that surround me at all times and the sign within the Metro gives a more literal representation to my daily movement. Merging the drawing of myself shows how my meaning to be in the city and how it goes along with my actual interactions with the city.
