Black marble is a type limestone that has a very shiny and reflective surface and hard to the touch. The random white patterning on the black marble is highly decorative and although it appears like scratches or cracks on top of the black marble, the actual surface is soft to the touch.

Walnut wood can vary  in color from dark to light and features a directionally straight grain and semi porous. Unlike marble, walnut wood has a faint odor and also has a texture to it. Walnut wood can be reflective if it is coated but is not in its natural state.

Adobe Bricks have huge amounts of grain and are very porous and so have a rougher texture than both the marble and wood. Also, the adobe bricks aren’t reflective at all. They also seem very hard to the touch but can shed some sand particles.
