“MAD HOUSE”

-Self salvations in this mad world-

100% inspired by ChenYu Hua’s stage costume in 2019 Fall.

Model: Ray Wu

‘I realized things when I was around 17. Why do we think eating steak is better than vegetables? Because we were told steak is more pricy, therefore buying things with higher prices has the power to risen our social status. Beef and vegetables, they are as nutritious as other types of food. I mean, I don’t need to meet other’s standards. I don’t care about what they wants to promote. And I want my intention of making music to be pure.”

The original clothes:

Process:

  1. Cutting, hand sewing sleeves and reconstructing the collar.
  2. Cutting the sweater vest apart and use the fishnet part to sew the front; cut the vest and hand sew to the back of the blouse.
  3. Refine the fringes.
  4. I tried adding buttons, but the ones I bought were too heavy, and I am afraid of them tearing the fishnet apart, so I got rid of them in the end.
