Integrative Studio + Seminar 2: Visual Culture - Research Project

Integrative Studio + Seminar 2: Visual Culture – Research Project

Overarching question:

From social distances, what do we notice that we’ve already seen?

This project is in response to our new realities, shifting the focus to allow current place and circumstance to emerge and inspire processes. By asking the question: from a distance, what do we notice that we’ve already seen?  this final project involved creatively developing an individual “chapter” that will be combined into one digital publication and printed as an online publication.

By utilizing the diversity of locations and experiences that are relevant to my current situation, my “chapter” explores the social and creative aspects of being at a distance. Containing a collection of digitally drawn images accompanied by writing excerpts from Integrative Seminar 2, each page is meant to be stylistically different from the other, mimicking the changing and often confusing nature of the world at the moment.
