The store selling backpacks, belt bags, and clutches printed with comic style New York images is one of these stores which leave me good impression. The souvenirs are artistic and meaningful, at the same time, they have practical uses. No Chewing Allowed is a New York City based French Truffles store. I really enjoy the smoothness and the appropriate sweetness of these truffles. The bright-colored packages with a cartoon character enjoying the melting of truffles make it a good option to distribute among children.
As the people have purchased the special gifts, they continue to walk to the path station, where they can take path trains to Newark Penn Station. They can transfer to the NJ transits, even transfer to the airport to fly back to their hometown or start another journey.

Before I came to the file trip, I tried the food at the Épicerie Boulud. The sandwiches do not have a very good taste because they are low salt and low fat. However, the ingredients are healthy, for example, boiled chicken breast, dried raspberry, lettuce, and whole wheat bread. The soup is a little bit salty and the croissant is too oily and sweet. These foods are also overprice base on their quality, but still attracting a lot of customers.
The customers basically consist of two groups of people, people who work around and people who want to eat something before their trip. These office workers have a very limited time for their lunch break, so buying something that is already made will be much time-saving than ordering some food that need to be prepared. Most white collars pursue healthy lifestyles so eating these low salt and low fat sandwiches could be a good choice for them. The unreasonable price will not bother them because people who work at this location have the ability to afford the price. The sandwich shop provides an open style eating area for the customers. is relaxing, informal and not so private, making it an appropriate place for colleagues to enjoy their lunchtime together. Travelers consume in this store mainly because of the perfect location. As shown in the photo, the sandwich shop is just near the ticket machines. People can go to the sandwich store and grab some food just before they buy the tickets and it does not take a lot of time. Through my observation, this is the only store that we can buy meals in the oculus. The meal market in the oculus is monopolized by Épicerie Boulud and it occupies the best location at the same time. People have no other options so the path train station brings then sandwich shop a lot of business. The food at Épicerie Boulud is normally wrapped by oily paper or plastic box, so they are very portable and able to carry on the path train. Since eating is not allowed on the path train, wrapped food can be put in travelers’ bags and they can still enjoy the food as they get off the path trains.
The path train station brings business to the sandwich shop, at the same time, the sandwich shop provide a better user experience for the traveling by providing them with portable food. Since the shop is located in a business center, it also attracts office workers who works around and can afford the price. The sandwich shop provide these white collars with the food and environment they pursue in return. The public transportation system brings profits to the business system and the business system is bringing positive effects the transportation system. These two systems offer mutual benefits and achieve common progress.
