In this project, we are going to make an utensil base on our memory of the most meaningful meal. The theme of my meal utensil is Chaos. My most memorable meal was not something homemade and meaningful, the meal I had was McDonald’s. I was about four, my dad was driving me home from kinder garden one day, he brought me McDonald’s French fries and burger so I could eat on the way, however, a car accident happened, the food in my hands slipped all over the place. This memory became my inspiration for the piece. I use irregular and pointed triangles connect with a cone to create a “dangerous” and exploded look to show the theme chaos, in addition to remind people who are using this utensil to be careful and aware of what is happening around. It could be used as a utensil to hold food and water. (There a small hole on this object which I meant to make, so we can see the water slipping away as we are drinking or holding it.)
