Description:
My Symbol was originally a peace symbol but I decided to abstract the classic form to modify the symbols classical meaning. To me, this new symbol is also evocative of a skull (death), and a steering wheel (control), as well as a peace symbol. I won’t pretend to have a complete interpretation of how all 3 elements interplay, but it’s fun to think about. Ultimately the in me wanted to balance out a lighter, pure ideal (peace—namely, among people) with something darker—forces like death that extend beyond our reach and control.
