The goal behind this project was to create packaging for an object we think is well designed. I chose my Koss Porta Pro Headphones.

They are well designed because they can easily fold into themselves into a circle which makes them great for traveling. They are lightweight, have fabulous sound and have an unlimited warranty. These are some of my beginning design for the packaging, I was very much so inspired by their ability to fold up so I went with a cylinder for the package shape.

This last design lead me to the creation of the physical piece in felt. I wanted to make less of packaging to be used in the store but more so, a place to put your headphones at home since they are quite fragile.
