For my studio class we had to create an organization that had to do with the cruelty of the fashion industry. Myself and my partner Annie Leung create Specieism “We aim to open your perspective on animal treatment,so you may form your own opinion about it, leveling of the playing field for animals and their futures.” Specieism comes from worlds like Racism and Sexism. We named it this because we want to talk about the inequality towards animals based on their species. Why do we eat pigs and not dogs?

Then we created bookmarks with info graphics on the back explaining the different treatment of animals by country to show that our standards aren’t the standard for the rest of the world. We went up to people in the street and talked to them about animal rights, if they talked to use we gave them a bookmark and a dog treat if they had a dog.
