Marketing A Shoe to Social Justice Activists

One day during my current job at a boutique I realized how many shoes a woman has to have, not just as a stereotype it is a social obligation. Not only this but more so the waste that is created by this and how unfair it is that men don’t have to deal with it. I decided to create a shoe that would reduce waste created by the women’s shoe industry and would be marketed toward feminists and environmentalists. The sole and the body of the shoe would be interchangeable and any body would fit on any sole. For example; one body that is a sandal could be put onto a heel and be a dress shoe. This is possible with velcro. The entire brand is inspired by Riot Girl, punk/zine/feminist aesthetic.
