I often become motivated to draw or doodle once I encounter an art style that catches my eye. I particularly admire contemporary art and would often go on contemporary artists’ own website to browse through their work and gain inspiration. When inspiration hits me, it doesn’t matter what I’m doing, as long as I have a piece of paper and something to draw with, I’m ready to improvise and jot down ideas or sketches. Perhaps it’s because I never have a sketchbook around, but I find that I often reach for used A4 paper to draw on and over time, I slowly developed the tradition of keeping my old, used documents to use as my doodling paper.
