This assignment took a little longer than I had hoped. I had a frustrating time measuring out the lines and cutting out the shapes. Rather than lining out a whole sheet of paper, I ended up doing each line individually, using a compass to get the angles right…only to find out I had done the joints (tab + slot) incorrectly. In any case, despite this, the objects hold together pretty well, and the tabs and slots add some more texture to the edges. I then cut out triangles/diamonds on each side allowing light to pass through. I think this created a pretty cool effect.
