Self Portrait with My Trash

For the passed 3 days, I have collected and kept all of the waste I would normally throw down the chute. It has been an interesting experience in that I have come closer to understanding the grain of salt we see as our waste and consumption patterns, when in reality it is more like a meteor the size of our own earth. It is difficult to carry trash around with you because it weighs you down and holds you back, it smells (especially the dominos) and it simply doesn’t feel necessary. In my picture, I am praying that I can throw away my grabage.
