I try to experiment with human figures and portraying concepts through my art generally experimenting with many different medias usually resulting in a dark/cynical image and concept. A lot of repetition is present in order to convey different idea's and emphasize them through the tool of repetition. Many of my concepts involve exposure of human nature (this is why the majority of my drawings include humans) and exposing the ego within every person as a curse of being born. This leads into the cynical idea's behind my drawings and generally explores different natural human qualities (more negative qualities that we cannot change) and I try to take away peoples ego's and blatantly portray their flaws in order to strive towards perfection - although it will never be achieved, the idea is to never stop striving towards improvement within ourselves. In my eyes, a human's main flaw is comfort in qualities we have the ability to improve. This results mainly in laziness, however, can also be disruptive to the environment around you. Therefore, through my art I attempt to grab peoples attention and throw them into a zone of discomfort, allowing them to see and change their qualities that have become accepted without reason.
