Prototypes Experiment

I don’t really know what you want for this step. I’m trying to plan out my tapestry and the images in it. I am learning a new medium and trying to do a prototype while not even have been able to experiment with my material yet. I feel like I’m tripping over my own feet. I am just getting my embroidery punch pen in the mail today. I don’t have any questions for my studio project. The only thing I am currently asking is how to do embroidery. I agree with the reading that prototypes are helpful however, I do not think I would benefit from that at this time and with my materials. I am just ‘thinking with your hands’ at this point. My “prototype” I will be presenting isn’t a mockup of the final product but an experimentation with the material. “The first step was looking broadly to make sure that we were exploring all the possibilities.”

Basically, I just don’t feel like I need a whole prototype in order to determine if something will work or not. For me it’s just sustainably impractical.
