In class, we started Premiere and did a stop motion animation with photos we took of things we had from home. In the beginning, I made a list of 100 things I had brought with me – which was rather difficult, moving 5000 miles tends to make you pack light.
I finally came up with 100 things of random assortment that came with me from home. This was a smorgasbord of personal items, decoration, jewelry, and more. When we began putting it together in class I had no clue what to do – Adobe Premiere is absolutely new to me and I’m still trying to figure out how everything works. I organized my photos in the folder on my desktop before putting them into Premiere. Once they were all uploaded I individually changed frame rate because I wanted the stop motion to start slow and get faster as the video went on. This was a strong idea, in my head at least, but I realized there isn’t much music that I have that matches well with it. However, as I kept trying to play music to it I realized that it doesn’t need musical accompaniment – it creates a beat of its own.
The video is posted on YouTube because I realized that I have to pay for Vimeo… Please enjoy!
