IS2 Bridge 1: Chindogu Brainstorming

IDEA 1: WATER ALARM CLOCK

The first Chindogu idea that came into my mind after meeting my partner was one that addresses the fact that she forgets to drink water very frequently. With this in mind, I thought of creating an alarm clock of sorts that reminds its user to drink water, an idea that came to me after seeing my own alarm clock in my room. It has the same functions of an alarm clock, but the only difference would be that it shows the word “Water” at different set times.

IDEA 2:  FINGER GLOVES

My second Chindogu idea is based on my partner’s nail-biting habit, something that I also used to struggle with until last year. Because of this, I thought of making “gloves” that only cover one’s fingertips. I also decided that it would be best to find some way to keep them together to avoid the loss of one of the pieces, so I thought of connecting all the tips to a bracelet or wrist piece.

IDEA 3: PHONE SCREEN COVER

My last idea stems from my partner’s problem of looking at her phone too often, something that especially affects productivity and sleep. With this, I came up with a phone case that also comes with a feature that covers the phone’s screen. The front cover rolls in and out from the back of the case, and the user can simply pull on a little tab or handle to cover the phone’s screen.
