First Rough Draft:
After showing my original infographic to Michie, I realized that I was not presenting my infographic in a strong visual manner and my facts alone were doing the talking. Once I reevaluated my infographic, I wanted to make it look like all the different elements were falling into the witch’s cauldron like a visual potion recipe and effectively illustrating the “boiling point of witchcraft in politics”, instead of just having bubbles with facts in them. My seminar final topic is on witchcraft as a feminist force in politics (and pop culture), but although feminism is usually liberal and progressive, not all witches are. I chose to include a tidbit of data on the rare, but still present, conservative witches in order to fairly represent the political spectrum.
