Here are six different cubes that I hand drew and painted in my free time. I think color variations of light and dark are essential to design in general but I find them particularly moving. The colors also give the cubes the appearance of a light source shining on them from the upper right corner. If you were to rotate the cube to face another direction it would give the effect of the light shining from another direction giving the entire image a different presence. I also find beauty in geometric shapes. There is something so elegant about the sharp line and angles. I also chose to do one in every color of the rainbow because to me these are what all other colors are derived from.
