Bridge 5 Reflection

*Think about your audience — we are the community of learners and each or us is co-responsible for our individual and group learning process. What would you like to share with others?

  • It is important to plan ahead and organize one’s learning progress. Whether it is a small assignment or large project, having an organized plan is essential. Also it is important ti identify one’s own strengths and weaknesses.

*Think about connections and crossing paths: how can your diverse inspirations be put in dialogue? What are the main themes present in your kit? What are possible directions to explore?

  • Making sure everyone is able to present their ideas thoroughly and that it is being written down is important. It is always a good idea for everyone to collect and present their ideas together and go through them as a team as well to sort and organize them.

*Think about the notion of “constructed environments”: what is your take on this notion?

  • Environments and atmospheres that are purposely created for the benefit of the individual and their community. Whether it is a small club to a large public area, this space provides comfort, security, and prosperity for its users.

*Think about the nearest future: what is it that you have learned and how are you planning to use your skills/knowledge acquired?

  • I will be more environmentally as well as socially conscious when making design decisions. My research will be more in depth and require lots of steps and in person data collection.

*Think about failures and mistakes: we all make them. How can we also learn from them?

  • I believe keeping a notebook of all classes and their assignments is essential for self reflection. This way with future projects with similar parameters, I am able to look back and improve on my past ways.

*Think about good practices: what in your learning/working process was really effective and should become your habit?

  • Keeping and taking notes of everything in short and informative format.
