I chose the three artifacts to represent me and where I’m from because all of them relate to a significant part of my life living in NYC. The first picture is of me and my twin sister. I felt it necessary to include a picture of her since she is both literally and figuratively my other half.

For obvious reasons, I included a picture I took from the top of the Empire State building many years ago to represent my close connection with my city, which I take great pride in coming from especially since that is where the New School is located.

The last artifact is a sampling of my work as an aspiring designer. It represents me because fashion is what I am passionate about and is what I’ve come here to pursue at the New School.
