If a picture is worth a thousand words how can text add clarity, or maybe add a view of curiosity or even be the picture itself?
Our Final Drawing will be paired with a Text-Based Passage that reflects the social issue being explored.
Revisit one piece from the Bestiary Project to expand upon and further develop.
Select a line from a poem or text related to your social issue and explore it as a text-based art piece and consider how best to create and image from it.
Students will create a large formate piece, 11×14 – 18×24.
The pieces must include text. The text must appear in or on a space or be included in a composition.
